The Last Of Us Part 3

Ooc my own version of The Last of Us Part 3 it continues where part 2 left off but with a difference Ellie did not loose her fingers

After Ellie left the farm house she thought about going back to Jackson to find Dina and hope she would give her another chance.

Meanwhile in Jackson Dina was just relaxing and living with Jesse's parents and taking care of JJ life was good but sometimes she would think of Ellie but not to much

Ellie finally reached Jackson and headed to Jesse's parents house and knocked on the door

Dina went to the door and answered it and was surprised

Ellie hello Dina

Dina Hi Ellie

Ellie can we talk

Dina Its getting late outside

Ellie yea I guess it is it ok for us to talk inside

Dina no not tonight

Ellie oh ok good night Dina

Ellie turned around was starting to walk away

Dina are you heading to where you stayed

Ellie no not really wasn't heading there or back to the farm house

Dina where are you going

Ellie I didn't think that far ahead only thought of talking to you that was first

Dina well you are stuck in for the night

Ellie Fuck your right I couldn't leave now if I wanted to

Dina come inside

Ellie no its ok

Dina Ellie come inside please

Ellie walked inside

Dina looked at Ellie you should eat before going to sleep

Ellie Is there cereal here I could eat that and be good for the night

Dina yea there is cereal what do you want

Ellie I will take apple jacks if you have that

Dina went to see if they had any after finding it she than brought the box to Ellie and gave Ellie a bowl and spoon also milk

Ellie Thanks

Ellie took the bowl than poured the cereal in the bowl than got the milk than poured that into the bowl and started eating

While Ellie was eating Dina got out a cigarette she than stuck it between her lips and lit it after that she put her
lighter away she took a puff and removed the cigarette from her lips she waited a few seconds and blew the smoke out of her mouth

Dina how are you?

Ellie I thought you did not want to talk

Dina not about anything important want to save that for tomorrow

Ellie Oh ok um well I dont feel great anyway I figured after I eat the cereal I will go sleep on the couch I figured after I didn't listen to you thats where I will or end up sleeping at how is JJ by the way

Dina he is good

Ellie How about you are you good

Dina Other than worrying about you I am good

Ellie Thats good I am glad your doing good

After that Ellie got done with her cereal and was heading for the couch

Dina turned to look at Ellie you don't have to sleep on the couch why dont you head to bed I will be
there shortly

Ellie no the couch is fine

Dina no to bed no arguing

Ellie alright

Ellie headed to bed

Dina finished her cigarette than also headed to bed

Morning came and Dina expected Ellie to be gone Dina was surprised to see Ellie in bed

Than Dina got up she got a cigarette and her lighter she than lit it

Ellie just woken up

Ellie Good morning Dina

Dina Good morning Ellie do you want a cigarette

Ellie yes please

Dina than got out a cigarette for Ellie than handed her the lighter

Ellie took the cigarette she put it between her lips she than flicked the lighter than lit the cigarette after that
she handed the lighter back to Dina

Ellie I take its time

Dina Yes its morning its talk time

Ellie ok first I want to start off by saying I am sorry your right she wasnt more important than family and what I did was wrong and stupid and I hope you can forgive me and that you still love me

Dina I am going to stop you there at where your admitting your wrong everything after is either to soon or debatable at
this point cause that really hurt when you left me to continue pursuit of Abby why did you and did you get her and do you feel better

Ellie when I went after Abby it wasn't for Tommy even though I said I make them pay it was for me I was with Joel for 5 years he became like a father figure to me and I was like his daughter but I cant explain everything to you on that but what I can tell you is remember our dance and Seth bad mouthed you and Joel pushed him and I yelled at Joel

I dont know if you really noticed or not that night our relationship was strained that it was not just me yelling at Joel when he stepped in to protect me there was a darker issue behind that when I yelled at him even though I said me and Joel was good when I talked to Maria I lied

me and Joel were not on good terms our relationship was strained and I was trying to fix it and didn't get to cause remember he died that morning thats why I went after Abby I had something that needed closure and she took it from me so I guess you can say I had anger I had guilt I had a lot of different emotions running
inside I know you said I should of talked about my feelings but I couldn't cause it was like food poison but everyone
grieves differently and I am not the type to really talk about it and I know I should have but just cant its how
I deal with things even though I did not do a good job dealing with it but its just me

Also to answer your question I didn't kill her I had her I had my chance to and was about to but in
the end I couldn't do it I let her go and no I dont feel better I am just going to feel like shit for
a while no matter how things are and I am just going to have to deal with it and let things go.

Dina Wow this is not what I expected but I am also proud of you admitting all of that

Ellie yea I just wanted you to know all that and why I couldn't let it go at the time

Dina ok this next part will determine whether I forgive and take you back or not and you have to be
fully honest with me you did say you loved me but at the time you couldn't prove it to me than now
you have to cause its all or nothing now

Ellie ok

Dina whats the part you couldn't tell me

Ellie Fuck I should of seen this coming

Dina yes I want to really know

Ellie couldn't be something else

Dina Ellie why was your relationship with Joel strained

Ellie before I met you when I first met Joel through Marlene a firefly and Joel was a smuggler
he was supposed to deliver me to a hospital and they were supposed to make a cure.

For them to do it I had to die but I didn't know about that part anyway we got there and they put me out and than they told Joel after that he went in there killed the doctor and a good amount of Fireflies to get me out.

After I came to Joel lied to me he told me that they just ran some tests that I wasnt needed and they found others like me I asked if he was sure he said yes but something in me said he was lying but I couldn't prove it and for a time I tried to ignore but it still bothered me in the back of my mind.

So I went there I had so many questions and I found something a cassette player with a cassette and I played it and listened that even if they found someone else like me they could not make a cure sense the doctor was killed after Joel came looking for me I asked him again what happend and not to lie to me he finally told me everything and after that I was mad at him for a while.

That night at the dance I later went to talk to him I told him I couldn't forgive him for taking the choice away on whether I agreed to let them operate on me or not but than I said I would like to try and forgive him and that was the last time I got to talk to him remember when I said I was going to invite Joel over to watch a movie that was me trying to forgive him but he died that day it left me broken and I didn't get a chance to forgive him to fix our strained relationship Abby took that from me left me broken it was like our last conversation ended badly

Dina Just wow I don't know what to say

Ellie Now you know why I was determined to kill Abby it wasnt for Tommy it was for me

both of them just smoked their cigarettes in silent waiting for each other to speak

After they finished Dina looked at Ellie

Dina sorry I didn't say anything was trying to process all of what you just said to me
ok wow that was a mouth full ok um I think were both going to need another cigarette

Dina than got out another two cigarettes and gave one to Ellie than she took the lighter than
lit the cigarette than she sat the lighter down so Ellie could light her cigarette

Ellie than picked up the lighter than lit her cigarette

Ellie yea it was a mouthful so now you know what I couldn't tell you

Dina yea but I am glad you told me still hurts but now more understandable why you
couldn't let it go

Ellie yes I am sorry I know I had a lot of emotions going at one time still do honestly I
just don't know how I am going to deal I just have to and I understand if you dont forgive me
or wont take me back I mean I hurt you real bad and I know my ptsd will always be there
but its no excuse for why I left or had to at first.

I wanted to stay but I couldn't get myself
to stay like I said I hope you forgive me and take me back but if not I understand

Dina didn't say much

Ellie waited to hear something but heard nothing she was sad after hearing nothing

Ellie right well um thanks for letting me stay and hearing me out anyway

Ellie than got up was heading for the door

Dina got up

Dina Ellie wait

Dina than headed for Ellie

Ellie stopped and turned around

Dina put her arms around her than kissed her for a good few seconds than pulled back

Ellie smiled

Ellie Does this mean you forgive me

Dina smiled

Dina yes it means I forgive you

Ellie Are you ready to go back to our farm house

Dina I thought the farm house was a good idea but its not

Ellie dont tell me your considering here

Dina Not necessarily but

Ellie you want to stay in Jackson by your family

Dina yea

Ellie This isnt going to work for me I have no tie to Jackson

Dina What are you talking about you have me, maria,and Tommy

Ellie no I have you thats it I had Tommy cause of Joel and Maria through Tommy but that connection is gone its just you
now Dina

Dina dont do this last time you chose abby over your family

Ellie I do love you

Dina than prove it stay here with me in Jackson

Ellie kept looking like she wanted to say no but she knew if she did this time she may not have another chance

Ellie why here in Jackson couldnt we all just move

Dina they like it here in Jackson they wont leave

Ellie and you wont leave them

Dina if I did it wouldn't be far the farm was a nice dream but it was to far from Jackson and my family

Ellie We all cant live in this one house in Jackson and you know that for us to do so we all need a bigger house

Dina We can talk about what to do later

Ellie Fuck I have to go back to the farm house I got stuff to get out of there

Dina we will help you move all that stuff
